At Miss Molly’s, we believe good food and genuine kindness go hand in hand.
From serving breakfast, lunch, and bakery in our cozy café to the way we reach our broader community through catering and wholesale, we make everything from scratch, serve with intention, and hold ourselves to high standards—because creating honest food and welcoming spaces truly matters.
Molly Sullivan,
Owner + Founder
When Molly was about 8 years old she decided she wanted to own a cafe someday. The idea came and went over the years but she could no longer deny it once she had the opportunity to study abroad in Paris.
Molly attended culinary school in Minneapolis for Baking & Pastry and has worked in cafes and fine dining restaurants in the Midwest and on the West Coast. Molly returned to her Milwaukee roots in 2012 and worked as a pastry chef for locally owned and operated Milwaukee restaurants. Also during 2012 Molly made weddings cakes and desserts in her free time which led to the creation of her side business, Miss Molly’s Pastries.
Molly was determined to grow her side hustle into a full blown brick and mortar cafe. After 5 years of tweaking business plans and working multiple jobs she finally convinced a bank to lend her the cash. Miss Molly's Cafe & Pastry Shop opened in 2017 just a few blocks from Molly’s childhood home.
Molly lives just down the street from the cafe with her husband Lee, and two daughters.
