We welcome high school students who can commit to at least one weekend day per week during the school year. Miss Molly’s Cafe is a beloved neighborhood cafe known for our warm hospitality, honest from-scratch food, and from-the-heart baking. Our pastry department produces a wide range of baked goods daily for both our cafe and growing wholesale program. We are passionate about quality, consistency, and creating a supportive team environment.Position Overview
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Production Baker to support our bakery team with daily production and wholesale fulfillment. This is a hands-on role focused on executing core recipes and maintaining consistency across all products.Mondays: Fulfill wholesale bakery orders (compile orders, perform bake-off, organize for delivery), then transition into daily production
Additional day(s): Focused production shifts preparing core bakery items
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake items including cookies, muffins, scones, biscuits, pie dough, and bread
Scale and mix batters and doughs according to house recipes
Portion, shape, and bake items with consistency and care
Assist with wholesale order fulfillment and organization
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
Follow all food safety guidelines and kitchen protocols
Assist with labeling, packaging, and organizing bakery items as needed
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in a professional bakery or restaurant pastry department
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and systems
Dependable and punctual, especially for early morning shifts
Ability to work independently and stay organized
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
A team-first attitude and willingness to help where needed

Miss Molly’s Cafe is a from-scratch neighborhood café serving breakfast, lunch, catering, and wholesale throughout Milwaukee. We’re known for thoughtful hospitality, high-quality food, and a kitchen culture built on teamwork, organization, and consistency.
We’re looking for a reliable part-time line cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced daytime café kitchen and takes pride in preparing fresh food with care and attention to detail.
This role is a great fit for someone who prefers daytime hours and a positive team environment rather than late-night restaurant shifts.
Position Details
Pay: $18–$19 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Approximately 20–24 hours per week
Required shifts:
Tuesday
Thursday
Sunday
Typical shift: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (some flexibility possible)
Additional shifts or hours may be available for someone interested in picking up more time.
Responsibilities
Cook and plate breakfast and lunch menu items during café service
Prepare ingredients and complete daily prep for service
Follow house recipes and maintain consistency and quality
Assist with catering and production when needed
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team
Qualifications
1–3 years of line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
Ability to stay calm and organized during busy service
Strong time management and attention to detail
Reliability and a positive team attitude
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers
Interest in from-scratch cooking and quality ingredients

A minimum of one year counter server experience is required. Barista experience is strongly preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is personable, hardworking, professional, and self-motivated. Candidates must be comfortable with multitasking and working in a fast paced environment.
We are looking to fill 2-3 shifts per week, mostly weekdays, however weekend availability may be needed at times. The shifts are either 7-3pm or 9-3pm. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Take orders at the counter and over the phone with accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to multitask pouring beverages and fulfilling bakery orders while engaging with customers and taking their orders
- Assist with side work tasks such as making house beverages, stocking, running orders to tables, rolling silverware, etc
- Participating in general cleaning tasks such as doing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and bussing tables
Base wage + tips. Starting wage is based on experience. Opportunities for advancement available.
